A beauty cream that uses gold to "replenish the skin's energy" is among new products being distributed by UK online retailer HQhair.com.

The Chantecaille Nano Gold Energising Cream is a skin lotion featuring particles of 24-c gold that the firm claims makes it a superior beauty product.

Hollywood actresses such as Jennifer Aniston and Kate Bosworth are fans of the Chantecaille brand, according to the retailer.

Several hair and beauty collections have now been made available through the NQhair air website as part of an expansion initiative by the company.

A spokeswoman for the firm remarked: "These brands are already being well received by our savvy customers and it's a great joy giving them the products they demand."

She added that customers appreciated having a variety of goods available to browse all in one place.

Many spas and dermatologists now offer a 24-c gold leaf facial treatment for those seeking to retain their youthful features, according to CNN.
